Defining Features & Benefits

Height & Weight: Our roof conversions add a mere 52mm of height and only 85kg of weight to the vehicle.

Exceptional Headspace: The roof lifts to 43º so it is designed for you to sleep with your head up the hinge end so you not only wake up to a view, but you simply slide down the bed to exit. This is instead of trying to spin around on the spot, and as such, interfere with your partner. The conversion has over 1850mm of headspace, just inside the tent! You’ll no longer hit your head when sitting up in bed, and you can change your clothes upstairs without needing to push the bed up to change downstairs.

Tent: Unzip and roll down the entire tent for the ultimate safari experience. With one zip windows, your awnings can be popped up in a matter of seconds. We’ve also designed the largest windows on the market to maximise airflow and to open up the tent.

Vehicle Integrity: Our roof conversions are engineered and ADR compliant. We also follow the National Code of Practice for Light Vehicle Construction and Modification, which allows our customers to drive on all roads in Australia without needing to obtain further vehicle compliance.

Charging and Stowage: Each roof conversion comes with a colour-matched overhead organiser and if opted for, usb charging pots. All organisers are capable of stowing books, bottles, hats, phones, wallets and even a tablet or laptop for those wet and windy Netflix nights.

Ultimate Weather Protection: The main wrap-around awning supplied as standard can be zipped on and off in seconds. To further shelter the sides of the tent from blowing rain and harsh sunlight, we have designed zip-on/zip-off side awnings that attach to the main awning and tent. Our awnings are easily removed or left attached when opening and closing the conversion.

Customisable Colours: Choose your colour preferences for your tent and frame cover. You have the choice between a sand coloured tent with a sand wrap-around awning, sand organiser and brown trimmings, or a grey coloured tent with a grey wrap-around awning, grey organiser and black trimmings.

Construction & Materials

Tent: 380GSM poly/cotton 90% light-blockout ripstop canvas. Designed and engineered in Australia and proven to withstand the country’s harshest conditions. It is mould, rain and UV resistant. The tent contains anti-tear midge mesh in the windows, double reinforced seams and marine grade oversized zips for longer lasting wear.

Frame: Durable powder coated folded 4mm aluminium frame reduces the overall weight while also maintaining adequate strength to minimise vehicle body roll. Use of an industrial grade double point rubber seal ensures adequate ingress protection from the elements, including the infamous outback bulldust. Our automotive two pack spray finish provides a much cleaner, automotive finish.

Bed Frame: Carpet-lined, lightweight, resin-infused composite bed and access door base that reduces the overall roof conversion weight by 25%. This product is used in marine and aviation manufacturing due to its high strength to weight ratio and fatigue expectancy.

Mattress: 60-75mm mattress thickness with an optional anti-condensation base layer to prevent moisture build-up. Handmade machine washable water and UV resistant mattress cover.

Access Doors: Accessible from inside the vehicle to provide protection from the elements. An exterior ladder can be arranged if external accessibility is required. Bed can be pushed up towards the ceiling to provide a larger living area downstairs. Due to the high angle tilt, you are able to comfortably walk around the entire vehicle from the back of the front seats to the rear doors.
